Two hardy souls battled against a bitterly cold January wind on the former airfield at Alconbury to install some BIG letters on the side of the Incubator. Designed by architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, the Incubator is the flagship building of Alconbury Enterprise Campus, at the heart of the Alconbury Weald development (see Projects/Selected), and is already attracting interest from small and start-up businesses. The verbal identity, summed up in ‘Make|Grow’, states that Alconbury Weald will be both a place to make, and a place to grow. If not quite from space, you can certainly see the sign from the roundabout on the B1043!
